In 2009, a group of students from the University of Creative Arts (UCA) in Surrey, approached the Wado Academy hoping to produce a video on karate for their final year exams. The Wado Academy put them in touch with our clubs and over a period of a few weeks that spring, they put together this video of what they had filmed and recorded.
It must be noted that this video is not necessarily representative of a typical Wado Ryu or martial arts lesson. It is merely reflective of the UCA students thoughts and creative ideas, who were trying to make something suitable for their own purpose, not ours.
